Disney’s trailer for the Studio Ghibli film, Spirited Away, that came out during the 2002 American release.

UPDATE:

Many people are confused either by my description or the trailer (or both). Let me clear some things up:

This IS a Studio Ghibli film. Walt Disney Studios, a production company, only purchased the rights to dub the film nto English and distribute it in North America. This is the trailer Walt Disney Studios made for the 2002 North American theatrical release of the film.

Combining both worlds of traditional live-action and CG, follow the vivid imagination of a lonely girl as she searches for a friend.

As you can probably tell, I would give it big fat “G” rating. So if you hate kid’s books or disney cartoons… turn back now! 🙂

It’s screened at festivals all over the world and has won a couple awards, one I’m most proud of… my student academy award.

By the way, somewhere on youtube there is another version of the short formated for widesceen, instead of the awful squishing youtube does to widescreen movies.
